Access to Recovery College courses

The CMHA Montreal Branch offers its members free access to courses (a $235 value), thanks to a partnership with the Centre d’apprentissage Santé et Rétablissement (CASR).
Inspired by the internationally recognized Recovery College model, these courses are designed to promote knowledge sharing, skill development, and mental health well-being.
A different approach to mental health
Open to everyone, these training programs bring together people from diverse backgrounds in an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
They are built on:
- an active learning approach that encourages participation
- the integration of professional and lived experience knowledge
- a collaborative learning environment that values diversity
- co-facilitation by two facilitators with complementary expertise, including lived experience, theoretical, practical, or clinical knowledge

Holding a master’s degree in criminal law and criminology, Alice has more than 13 years of experience leading mission-driven organizations, primarily in the field of mental health. Creative, resilient, and approachable, she inspires her team through her energy and collaborative leadership, turning challenges into opportunities for growth while helping position the CMHA Montreal Branch as a leading mental health resource for Montrealers.

CASR is part of the Recovery College model, an educational model established in countries around the world. This approach promotes knowledge sharing and access to mental health education and training.
The CMHA Montreal Branch is proud to be one of CASR’s principal partners, contributing its mental health expertise and collaborating on the development and delivery of training programs, including through the participation of its facilitators.
